I think that since some of you think that it's only the woman's faults, All women should go on strike, and not have sex unless planning to get pregnant.
Men. They marry one woman (if any) yet can impregnate multiple women. A woman only has to be married to one man to to avoid the "out of wedlock birth" lable regardless of how many baby daddies she has.
It's simple logic that seems lost on so many...men?

And there's women who have extramarital affairs and are very able to hide the pregnancy while they're in a relationship. Who knows many many children she had due to the bad choices she made.

You revived a dead thread to whine about something you read in a romance novel?
Really?
1) Do you believe women are more at fault because they bear larger risks and consequences with pregnancy, childbirth and raising the children, or for some other reason I haven't thought of?
2) Do you believe men are more at fault for leading women on, making a baby and then leaving them or for some other reason I haven't thought of?
3) Do you believe both at fault equally?
Well, before the DEMOCRAT great society programs that made men leave the home, blacks used to be mostly Republicans and also were part of 80% two parent households.
Blame it in the Democrats big government Great Society wet dream, and teaching the entitlement mentality.
There is your cause and effect.
Because of another thread I am posting in (//www.city-data.com/forum/polit...t-wedlock.html), and because of opinions that blame either one gender or the other, but not usually both, I am wondering how people consider which gender is more responsible for out of wedlock births.
So, to everyone:
1) Do you believe women are more at fault because they bear larger risks and consequences with pregnancy, childbirth and raising the children, or for some other reason I haven't thought of?
2) Do you believe men are more at fault for leading women on, making a baby and then leaving them or for some other reason I haven't thought of?
3) Do you believe both at fault equally?
Just curious, if anyone would like to chime in.
It's all the fault of gay people.
Because gay people want to get married, all these straight people are having babies out of 'wedlock'.
