Just what I figured these animals belong in prison or chained together doing physical labor not roaming the streets with civilized humans. Its the usual suspects. The media likes to call them "youth".

Seems to me, a thug is a thug is a thug. No matter their color, no matter where they live. Same thing a thug. Who in numbers, thinks they are someone tough. Get that same lone person alone, bet he would be different.

I'm not going to sit and argue with a bunch of fools.But your right dissent.As a matter of fact on the department of justice website it shows black on white crime is out of control.38,000 white women every year are raped by black men while white on black rape is nill.Murder and assaults,all violent crime have comparible numbers.I'm sick of my race being the victim because black parents don't teach their children.Or maybe they do teach them,to hate whitey,that is.I challenge anyone to bring stats on black on white crime here and prove me wrong.Yeah,you may find a video or two of white kids doing wrong.But all you got to is turn on the news nightly and you see whites being the victims of black mobs.And never any hate crime prosecution
It was possibly( probably) a race based attack but Thank God it was a black man that went to the white guys rescue and quite possibly saved his life. So that points more to just the collapse of society and the worthlessness of many of the younger generation.
If they can make a statement by giving these kids the absolute maximum sentence and possibly go after their parents as well, good. If not, then they need more vigilantes willing to start hunting the streets of the city looking to dispatch would be criminals.
I personally am disgusted by this. It's a shame. The boys in the video look to be between 12-15. They are young, dumb and think this is funny. Attacking anyone is a terrible offense, but to target the elderly? Honestly, I'm not sure what to say. It all seems so hopeless sometimes.
I will say that as a black person it's difficult to participate in threads like these on C-D. While I agree that this is horrendous and something needs to be done, I can't continue to support your position if you begin to go on a racist tirade.

Would the crime not be as heinous were he not a vet?
Or does vet status make the crime worse?
No.
A violent, senseless crime is equally bad no matter what the status of the person.
Being a veteran does not make anyone more special than anyone else.
It's not a protected status, nor should it be.
Why not just discuss the crime without trying to pull at heartstrings?
Isn't it bad enough as it was?
