I know who Che really was. I know that he was one of the world's worst murderers of all time. However, I was past my college and Army days when he became so popular with the left in the US. Here is a chance to see just how bad he really would have been if his worst planned plot had happened.
I know what some here think he was. Many would have been right in there at the Occupies last summer buying and wearing the Che t-shirts and purses etc. They were the most sold items at those affairs.
If you are too far left and have read up to here you have wasted enough time to go ahead and watch this expose of Che so you might as well watch it. This comes from the Real News TV type program that is worked up by employees of The Blaze. Are you turned off yet?
This is great, you actually knew him? Was he a neighbor or relative? Did you do family outings together or just hang out at the pool? What was his favorite color?
Looking forward to some personal stories about your intimate relationship with him.

Roy used to buy Cuban cigars from Che back in the olden days... I think they went on a fishing trip together.
Che was in charge of eradicating prisoners of war who posed a threat to Castro. He was also a first-class bastard who threatened peasants with the firing squad if they dared not give a day of free labor to the new communist state.
If anyone on this thread could understand Spanish and listen to this bastard's speeches, you'd have the proper opinion of him.

Che was bush league in terms of killing people compared to someone like Pinochet... So how come the Glen Beck's of the world don't remind us of Pinochet incessantly and how it was US government policy that helped get that bastard into power(and similar to what we still do today to keep friendly dictators in power). Why worry so much about Che when no one cares much about him outside stoned college students?

Saying that .. On to my favorite part of Che's life story ..
Quote:
One day before his death in Bolivia, Che Guevara -- for the first time in his life -- finally faced something properly describable as combat. So he ordered his guerrilla charges to give no quarter, to fight to their last breaths and to their last bullet. With his men doing exactly what he ordered (fighting and dying to the last bullet), a slightly wounded Che sneaked away from the firefight and surrendered with fully loaded weapons while whimpering to his captors, "Don't shoot! I'm Che. I'm worth more to you alive than dead!" His Bolivian captors viewed the matter differently. In fact, the following day they adopted a policy that has since become a favorite among many Americans who encounter (so-called) endangered species threatening their families or livestock on their property: "Shoot, shovel, and shut up."
