Man oh man - how bad can it get? Who is next to call for Bush's impeachment? The cast of The Muppets?

Religion Briefs Coalition of nuns calls for impeaching Bush and Cheney

JOURNAL WIRE REPORT

A progressive group of U.S. nuns has called on Congress to impeach President Bush and Vice President Cheney because of their roles in the war in Iraq.

“The National Coalition of American Nuns is impelled by conscience to call you to act promptly to impeach President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for ... high crimes and misdemeanors,” the group wrote in a letter written on behalf of its board members.

The letter says that impeachment is warranted for their “deceiving the public under the false pretense that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction” and “destroying” the reputation of the United States and the good will of other nations.

I think it's more of an, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I'm supprised since bush is pushing amnesty. Catholic church has been really pro-amnesty partly because it's one of the few reasons that the church is expanding in the US.

Ummm... The cast of the Muppets called for their impeachment the day before the nuns did, but it didn't make many newspapers.

I've heard Mrs. Rictor's 2nd Grade Class plans to call for their impeachment tomorrow though...

I still think the Dems either have nothing they could impeach them for, or they are cowards for not doing it. Most of the so called impeachable offenses are missing one important element of impeachment: EVIDENCE. Speculation, correlation, etc. does not stand up well in court.

Oh yeah, and I agree. How come when a religous group voices an opinion that liberals disagree with, its a case of "they need to keep their Bible thumping opinions to their hypocritical selves!". Then when the occasion comes up that a religous group voices an opinion that agrees with liberals it turns into "see, even the religous people agree, so it has to be right!". That is almost funny if it weren't annoying.
