My credit has been crap for 11 years and it hasn't stopped me from getting a job yet. Childrens medical bills, pertaining to Hearing Aids for both of my kids since insurance companies don't cover them or the testing or the ear molds. The hearing aids are about $5,000 a set. There is one advantage though, nobody would still my ID, lol.

Are you really this dense? Several of us have already explained how you build credit without a credit card. Go take a nap or something, you are losing it.

Actually, insurance does cover the testing, but not the other stuff. Does it make you mad that Medicaid will pay for hearing aids but your own private insurance won't? Your tax dollars help other people get hearing aids that you, yourself can barely afford.

I have had three insurance companies in 11 years and only one paid for testing, yea it drives me crazy that other people get them for free absolutely crazy.

Umm.. making payments is not paying cash.

I don't use checks, I use online bill pay. I don't have car payments I paid cash. I don't have house payments I paid cash. What so on and so forth? I will not pay a user fee or intrest on anything. I will not pay for credit cards that charge me for not using them or highway robbery intrest rates.

I don't have "good" credit.

Should companies be permitted to use these in screening applicants?
Only if they will be handling money. Like an accountant.

Well, your flimsy arguments are the problem. Why don't you go ahead and explain? Need help? This...

Card or Cash? Pick one. I will elaborate further soon after. Besides, this American stupidity of relying on credit a bit too much, (which people in many other countries are also following, BTW), ain't a healthy system to rely on to judge excellence of candidates. In fact, it is downright unhealthy.

But I guess, this country was built on an issue of "credit problems". We're due for rebuilding.

Why wait? Elaborate now. Using credit to your advantage is not stupid. My credit card pays me. Who is stupid now?
