According to Newt Gingrich marriage is between one man and one woman and another woman. If the GOP uses Romney's traditions then polygamy would be rampant.
Why not just let two human beings who love each other marry ?
It makes perfect sense.

I'm kinda curious as to why there isnt a big push to ban divorce... I mean, it's not exactly traditional to divorce. What better to protect the sanctity of marriage than to make its dissolution illegal?

The irony is, I've linked the poll you just cited to him on more than one occasion, and he always claims it's biased, or wrong, or you can't trust polls, etc. And yet, he has no problem using the exact same poll from 2 years earlier to support his bigotry.

So typical that anti-gay trolls will lie through their teeth to discriminate against gays anyway possible.

Because that would primarily hurt conservative Christians, and we can't have them being accountable for their sins now can we? Better to demonize less than 5% of the population over an issue most of them will never have to deal with.

Well, Scotty? You cite an outdated Gallup poll to show that the majority of Americans oppose gay marriage, even though a more current poll shows the opposite. What say you?

Leave Scotty alone. He had to go pick up his boyfriend at the airport. Seriously, though, everyone knows as time marches on, public support for gay marriage will increase. Exit polls regarding age demographics have proven this time and time again.
