I note the inability of you to answer the questions posted.. why is that? Do you still think having foreign bank accounts make you exempt from the IRS?

Its like educating people on things that should be common sense here everytime I talk to a liberal..

Say what you want, but there is not a GOP candidate out there that can hang with Obama. This election will be landslide.

You guys are funny..13.9% is 13.9%. That should be fixed..PERIOD...Obama did a great job tonight. It's always evident in how his haters react. 7 in 10 support Obama on tax reform. I guess we got the 3 up in here. I'm going to bed on that note. Keep spinning....Ahh, I'll dream of the next Newt Romney cat fight on Thursday. Cheers.

Very convenient for the Left/media to IGNORE those profits, which are then distributed as dividends, have been taxed at a higher rate up the ladder.

I dont think there is a GOP candidate out there that would want to hang with Obama. A lot of Democrats dont want to hang with him, have you seen them running to be "busy" when Obama campaigns in their states?

There's so much wrong with these arguments from the left that I am shocked that any adult would actually believe this rhetoric.

When someone like Romney is paying capital gains tax, he has taken income he earned and payed taxes on at the ordinary income tax rate and investing it into the market. This invested money is providing companies with capital to either succeed or fail in the free market. He has risked his own funds in these investments. If the company does succeed, they take those profits and pay them to their investors in the form of dividends. These dividends must be held for a minimum of one year to qualify for the 15% tax rate on capital gains.

So, Romney is investing, has already paid taxes on these monies, and is paying an additional 15% on the return of this investment. Why is this so hard for the left to understand?

Oh, and one more thing. Why is it okay with some that this President pits one group of Americans against another? We have managed, in this country, to go without this divisive speech for a number of years with few exceptions. We are stronger as a nation and as a people when everyone strives to better themselves and not sit back waiting on their handouts compliments of someone else. For this one reason alone, Obama should lose the election. Add all of his other failures, including this speech, and I can see no reasonable argument to go in for four more years of this President.

You guys on the Left like fact check - hope this helps:

"The numbers change a bit if you look at total income before deductions and tax credits (Adjusted Gross Income), according to another non-partisan group, The Tax Foundation. Here’s how the numbers breakdown using IRS data from 2009 on Adjusted Gross Income for the income groups at issue in this discussion:

- $10 million a year paid 22 percent.

- $1 million to $10 million paid 25 percent.

- $50,000 to $75,000 paid 7 percent.

The rate for the middle-income filers drop because many individual deductions and tax credits are phased out for higher income taxpayers."

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics...ies-and-taxes/

The average American has a rate of less than 10%. The notion that a teacher pays a higher rate than a millionaire is laughable. The fact that people believe it is sad.

He also donated like 4 million in charity. What gets me is he's acting like he's supposed to apologize for it. I mean what has this country become when a guy has to apologize or try and hide the fact he is successful because it may hurt his election chances. It's gdam pathetic. We've gone from a nation of striving to be a success to trying to knock folks down for their success because it's deemed not fair by one group of communist scum. I hope the revolution starts before I get too old cause I've about had it. I'll at least go out with my boots on instead of being told by one of obama's death panel "patriots" that I'm not worth keeping alive.
