Our President taking credit for something for which he is not responsible? What, with borrowing Rick Santorum's idea on a manufacturing focus, and now this, is there any wonder that some think plagiarism is a good way to get through Havurd?

This should really be in the main forum. Doesn't really deal with elections.

Sure it does. He's running for re-election and this, and the suddenly found fondness for manufacturing are both part of his campaign strategy

How is he different than any politicians?

They always claim credits and blame others. If you haven't realize, our politicians are the perfect human being. Can do no wrong.

Its because he's LYING.

Fact check: Misleading claims in Obama's first ad

Quote:
President Obama's first 2012 campaign ad misleads on ethics, "clean-energy" jobs and U.S. dependence on oil imports.

The ad brazenly quotes our fact-checking colleagues at PolitiFact saying that President Obama "kept his promise to toughen ethics rules." But based on events since that initial finding, PolitiFact has updated its ruling on Obama's promise to toughen rules against a revolving door for lobbyists, and the site now rates it as a Promise Broken.
He will lie, steal, smear and destroy America in order to get re-elected.

Maybe he learned it from Perry and the Republicans.

They both love to tout all the jobs here in Texas while conveniently ignoring that there's this sludgy dark stuff that comes out of the ground which creates the jobs.

He is also responsible for the NE Patriots and NY Giants wins on Sunday!

(although, he does have a bit of an issue with the name "Patriots")

Look at all the credit Newt is taking for Ronald Reagan's turn around of the economy? Or balancing the budget?

It's typical of all politicians to take credit for other's work in order to fluff up their resume. What you have to ask yourself is why are we so eager to believe it as long as the guy is selling what we want to hear?

So stealing ownership of GM from stockholders and giving 40% of it to the UAW is all good in your book? You libs cry about how Wisconsin 'reorganized' their finances to avoid default, essentially reneging on union contracts, but you cheer like sports fans when Obama reneges on stockholder 'contracts' to give billions of dollars to the UAW?

Can you spell H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E??
