What EXACTLY are you referring to?
He wasn't AWOL, technically he was a Deserter, since he was gone without permission for over thirty days. If you disagree, produce the record of his Commanding Officer giving hi permission to ignore the rest of his obligation. I will wait while you dig that out for us all to read. Nice to have a Daddy that is a powerful man in politics, avoid the fighting then just quit whenever you are tired of playing solider and no biggie. BS.

Uh huh. All was thoroughly investigated, the documentation provided by the Bush campaign, Rathergate thoroughly debunked and exposed for putting forth fraudulent documents.

YOU have no proof whatsoever of your claims...so you can go digging for your evidence.

It was buried by the conservative media.

where were you when bush first ran for governor of texas? this has been hashed and rehashed EVERY TIME bush ran for office. as much as these records have been gone through, if anything was going to be found, it would have been found already.

Does being a veteran who was separated from the US Army with one of those honorable discharges count. If so you can find out that mine was dated in August of 1957. Of course, there was no war other than the Cold War on then and all I did was help our forces in Europe know where every Iron Curtain country had its forces then. Hell, we were able to track and pin point every tank that surrounded Hungary in the fall of 1956. That was scary being stationed so near them. No bullets but we did do a duty that back then was very important. We weren't allowed to go to Berlin because we had info that nobody wanted to get into Russian hands and you had to cross their area to get there.

Why didn't the Dems get excited about Bush's military records till they ran a real hero for President? Bush already had us in war and it was going so well at that time. You seem to be afraid of something that doesn't make a bit of sense.

People whine about FDR and Carter, etc., on here so I don't see why George "Mission Accomplished!" Bush should get some special treatment. Seems like mentioning Bush really drives some righties nuts. Why is that? Perhaps regret after electing one of the worst presidents in history two times? You may want to whitewash your memory of the disaster that was Bush II, but the rest of us aren't required to accommodate you.

I thought it was something he said about "Obama not even bing able to sell watermelons if you had the state troopers there to flag down traffic." which destroyed Dan Rather's career.
