If Both parties are serious about smaller Govt. they shoud get rid of congress and just have one house in the capitol........ at the moment two houses are doing one job.

Sorry to disappoint A_Lexus but I'm voting straight ticket.

There, I just wiped out A_Lexus' Presidential cast. His vote for Barack no longer matters.

Truth hurts I suppose.

Nevertheless, this constant spin by the left, that it is Congressional Republicans alone who are unpopular, continues.

If you have been pulled into the left-right Hegelian Dialectic Paradigm, you've done exactly what they would like you to do taking you out as any potential threat to special interests.

The tread was titled..

Majority would vote out entire Congress

Start cleaning House, Political Reform, Re-establish checks and balances with independent, decentralized Media, re-establish resource-based currency and Spiritual Bible-based foundational morality and I agree.

Get pulled into their Democrat, Republican paradigm and we lose.

I think we've lost anyway. Ted Turner and gang are laughing at the American public for being so Naive I'm sure giving high fives to the Democrats, low fives to the Republicans, and a double back slap to the Centralized "Tea Party". When you are the opposition you don't have opposition.

It's fine, we'd be better off with a single party leading our country anyways.
We had that when Obama came into office. Look what that got us!

Congress remains broken as long as Republicans are at the table in numbers that matter.

You just don't like them because they put a halt to the run away spending they enjoyed the first 2 years of the Obama admin.

Because people want to vote out everyone else's representatives--not their own. Apply nationally, and nothing changes.

Two houses are doing two jobs. Congress was specifically split into a senate, with equal representation of states, and a House, with equal representation of population. There was a huge battle about this 230 years ago.

All this talk about Democrats, Republicans, Progressives, Conservatives, Left, Right...

You need to stop listening to their promises and begin making DEMANDS of them. If you settle for what they offer you, you will NEVER get what you need.
