Food prices are dictated by supply and demand plus cost to market place. When the cost of fuel to ship goes up and it has the past few years, the cost is passed to consumer.

Food stamps the government issues can effect food prices.. no matter what the cost , a food stamp recipient will purchase that milk or common products because they are not actually paying for it. If the price goes up they will buy it and the product will disappear off the shelf.

No, it's written by men who suffer all the imperfections of men. To claim we should base foreign policy on Jews writing that we should bless Israel is inane. Perhaps WE should just write a book claiming those who bless America will be blessed, those who curse America will be cursed, based on your simplistic thoughts that should solve everything, eh?

Do you have even a clue about what YOU said?

It was: Werent we told cash for clunkers would decrease the price of fuel?

So, can you support your allegation factually or was it just more baseless blather?

By that line of reasoning, milk and bread should be non existent in stores.
That sentence doesnt even make any sense.

The food item is still being paid for, just not by the food stamp holder. So from that perspective, it's like any other purchase at a supermarket. I don't think it's likely to be a major factor in food prices.

You didnt answer the question, we were sold that cash for clunkers would lower the demand for fuel, and we all know lower demand lowers costs.

So again, if the end result wasnt lower price of fuel, then why the hell did we do it?

Furthermore, we were told exactly that

A Cash for Clunkers program to stimulate job growth and lower gas bills

well said. The hate on Obama from the far right must affect their physical health at this point. Stress and hate kills internally.

Interesting - these are the kinds of things that affect the middle class and working folks
A few months ago I posted how a pack of Oscar Meyer Bacon was 7.50 at the store. Folks on here said I was lying or the store had high prices.

I'm glad other people are noticing.

Actually it makes perfect sense. Food stamps impact the demand side of the equation and since the recipients aren't impacted by income restraints, inflation doesn't impact them. They have no reason to seek substitutes.

The government will simply give them more food stamps to cover the rising food costs.

I can see the re-election strategy of Obama forming right before our eyes. If you disagree with Obama, you HATE!!

Must suck to not have anything of real substance to support him on other than make believe bs like that.. The only thing more pathetic, is you guys claim to be part of the party trying to bring this nation together and stop the divisiveness.. FAIL!!!!
