The Middle East represents a big problem for much of the world. Iran's idiocy could well spark another War. At least this President is prepared if it becomes necessary.

When the Obama administration makes contingency plans for war with Iran, it's called "preperation" [sic]. When the Bush administration made contingency plans for war with Iran, it was called "warmongering." Interesting what it's called changes depending on whether there's a D or an R after the president's name.

A little bit of difference is, was Iraq a threat to the world that needed squashing? Saddam was a threat to his neighbors, but the world?

Read the article. It is preparing a ship for operations in the middle east (military support and commando raids) to defend against disruptive actions by Iran, al-Qaeda in Yemen and Somali pirates. It's a little different then invading and occupying middle east countries against the wishes of every other country involved in the UN (save Britain).

It also states Spec Ops has been requesting this ship for a number of years from military command.

What the hell does that have to do with contingency plans for military action against Iran?

Yeah... so like I said, Obama makes contingency plans, it's "preperation." When Bush makes contingency plans, it's "warmongering."

Sorry, let me slow down what I said. It's different types of preparations.

Police actions in defense of nations under international law = Preparations

Offensive actions of invasion in violation of international law = Warmongering

does that make it easier?

I love the way you left wing loons just believe in obama in spite of the fact that he is a total imcompetent.

Prepared?? Maybe he can make a trip to iran and bow before the ayatollahs and ahmadinejad...maybe even lick their feet as he apologizes for the united States. Maybe then they will NOT press the war issue.

If that is what you mean by prepared...then I'll agree.

Yes, it makes it clearer that you assume premises that lead to your desired conclusions.

Thanks for the clarification.
