Unfunded tax cuts, Reagan did it, and it resulted in a deficit, GWB did it, and it resulted in a deficit, now the GOP dopefuls are preaching the same sermon, and, yes they will add to the deficit.

Isn't doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results the definition of insanity? If so, we have some lunatics running for President.

Here's a big hint, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out...if you cut revenue without cutting spending, a deficit will result.

Yes, I know this is an op-ed from HuffPo, but actually read it, and decide if you want the same old same old from these guys.

Richard (RJ) Eskow: Last Night's GOP Debate Was Like Bad 1950's-Style Science-Fiction

...The New York Times analyzed the tax plans put forward by Romney, Gingrich, and Santorum to determine how much each of them would add to the national deficit in a single year. Romney's would add $600 billion. Santorum was tied with Gingrich at $1.3 trillion, or more than twice as much.

Ron Paul wants to eliminate the income tax altogether, making the economic future under his Presidency as difficult to predict as the space-time continuum inside a black hole. That's probably why the Times didn't try. (It would be an interesting project, though.)

I haven't time at present to read the link, but the title of your thread is outstanding. Reminds me of Lovecraft.

................ and you are suggesting that Obama would be better regarding fiscal responsibility?

Obama is a proven failure

Romney balanced the budget in Massachusetts

Gingrich had the most fiscally responsible congress since ww2

Unfunded tax cuts will result in a deficit, what about that do you not get?

I am saying that these guys won't do any better in deficit cutting or job creation.
