How come every hate group is based in the south? Maybe the south can leave the rest of US?

American Family Association (AFA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes conservative Christian values,[1][2][3][4] such as opposition to same-sex marriage, pornography, and abortion,[5] as well as other public policy goals such as deregulation of the oil industry and lobbying against the Employee Free Choice Act.[6] It was founded in 1977 by Rev. Donald Wildmon as the National Federation for Decency and is headquartered in Tupelo, Mississippi.

The family that hates together stays together.

Apparently? American Family Foundation is the same organization that had issues with Lowe's sponsoring "All-American Muslim" for not showing them as terrorists, and yet have no problem with "Toddlers and Tiaras" (also on TLC).

All these hate groups have one thing in common - they are based in the south.

They push their agenda onto every issue or non-issue. Too much "family" time on their hands.

Their opponent is stuck in a foolish tangle of phraseology - how can they say they are against "family values"?

I've thought a lot about this as I realized how different my beliefs were from my conservative peers. It seems they've done an incredible job in wrapping their agenda with a cloak of God, Country and Family and I really bought it for a long time (or didn't think too deeply about it).
It all seems to be a huge cover for the real agenda of hatefulness. Even here, looking at what conservatives post, it's just seething with anger and venom (and usually misspelled!)
