Being a Christian, I find this silly. It's not like people are going to go gay, shopping at JC Penney. I like JC Penney and will continue to shop weather or not Ellen is a spokes person.
All these hate groups have one thing in common - they are based in the south.
There are lots of hate groups based in parts of the country besides the South. Your insistence on blaming the South is incorrect and also shows a prejudice on your part.
I don't know, but it seems to be true. Part of the reason for my conversion from the right. I finally looked around and realized the hate and intolerance underlying the good "Christian" rhetoric. The right as a whole tend to be the least Christian of all.
I am sorry Christians put up with an awful lot and are more tolerant than anyone out there. They tend to be very passive on most everything.
I know the Liberals scream they re the tolerant party but we all know that not true.

Seriously? You actually believe this, given the plethora of anti-equality groups that claim to be based on Christian principles? You really believe this, when the Southern Baptist Convention - the largest protestant group in the country, and second largest Christian group - condemns homosexuality? It took them until 1995 to apologize for embracing racism, and to this day they still discriminate against women.
