Anybody under 45 doesn't even know who Jane Fonda is.

"What are your views on Josephine Baker?" is just as relevant.

only because she gets naked in barbarella.

she is a good actress, but she made poor choices when she was younger, especially going to north vietnam and posing with NVA soldiers and making anti american comments.

however i cannot say if i like her personally or not because i have never met her. i like her movies, i dont like her politics. for me it is a toss up.

Yeah but I still wouldn't kick her out of bed on a cold night in Alaska.

at a minimum, jane fonda should have had her citizenship revoked upon return from north vietnam, at most she should have been tried for treason, if convicted and given a lengthy prison sentence or given the long drop from the hangmans noose.

Not enough poll categories.

I fall into the "I could care less about her or any other actor as a "public figure" because actors' opinions don't carry more weight than anyone else's with me, but I think she went too far" category. Even though I was against that war 100%, she didn't need to do that, and even she admits that she was too strident, not that admitting as much excuses her.

I'm not in awe of people who mostly got where they are because the cards were dealt in their favor. I wish less people were.

Anyway, why is this such a big issue recently?

My view is that she's just a person living her life....no more, no less.
