Could be. But at least you still have all who oppose your thoughts to hate.

Obama is honoring the 100 women of the century and Jane Fonda is on the list, the entire thing seems a waste of time, kind of like the top highways of the US, don't they have better things to do? I am sure there are others on the list that don't belong.

This is the never ending story, bring up Fonda, Reagan, etc and you will fill the thread.

The difference between Dick Cheyney and Jane Fonda is that Jane went to Vietnam

Great reply, actually neither did our last 2 presidents.

While we will disagree on Jane Fonda, we do share the same history and as such, I appreciate your opinion as a valid one. Thank you for your service.

People of both genders do crazy things for "love", but I think women take it a little farther. I believe that kook Hayden used Jane for her fame and put her up to the whole thing.

Likewise, I think the majority of female prison inmates in this country are behind bars because some jerk they loved talked them into being an accomplice in a crime.

Default Fonda not important; a mystery why she is mentioned

She has no more relevance now than the pet rock or mood ring. Conservatives are this country's biggest problem, not what Fonda said or represented before Bush wrecked the country.

glitch, you really have to break out of your shell and tell people just how you really feel.

You offer multiple responses to support "Jane Fonda is Bad" and leave off the squishy "other" one.

Let's look at the responses so far. What jumps out at you? 31 people say she's contemptible. That's what people will remember from your poll. No other single response choice comes close. I'm guessing that's not the result you seek. It appears at first glance that no one likes her. But had you combined all of the Jane Fonda is good responses to one squishy response like "Jane Fonda is okay" instead of making them various shades of the same thing --- people would walk away with a different impression because you actually have 34 people who say she's not contemptible. Had your poll results been a TV news story, however, the opinion jockeys would lead with "Voters Overwhelmingly Think Jane Fonda is Contemptible."

A great public figure all around 4
Not a great public figure, but her antiwar activism was good 12
A good public figure, but her antiwar activism went too far 7
A contempible public figure and traitor 31
Other 11

People who poll/survey do that shifty trick to achieve the result they want all of the time to make you think more people think like they do. They offer multiple responses on the opinion they DON'T want (to dilute those numbers) and one opinion on the response they do want. Then the dumbos in the media point to the results as the proof that backs up their own opinion.

If you wanted to make it look like people think Jane Fonda is good, you would have done "something like" this:

Jane Fonda is an okay person. 150
Jane Fonda's antiwar activism went too far. 50
Jane Fonda is contemptible. 60
Jane Fonda did a very bad thing. 70

The people who think she's a creep would have divvied up their response to among the last 3 choices, diluting the Jane Fonda is bad potential eye-popping result and the media would all jump on how the latest poll demonstrates that America finally forgives her (with that 150 number). It wouldn't be true but when was polling ever about the truth?

For the record, I think she's contemptible.
In short = Statistics don't lie but most statisticians are liars !!!
