Quote:
In December 2005, Romney required all Massachusetts hospitals, including Catholic ones, to provide emergency contraception to rape victims, even though some Catholics view the morning-after pill as a form of abortion.

He said he was acting on his legal counsel’s interpretation of a new state law - one passed by lawmakers despite his veto - but he also said that “in his heart of hearts,’’ he believed that rape victims should have access to emergency contraception.

Interesting.

Why? Do you believe that a rape victim should be forced to bear the child of the criminal who violated her, brutalized her, and may have transmitted an STD to her, including HIV? Are you one of those misogynists who are pro-life except when it comes to the mother's life? Why don't you just get honest and become a Muslim and be done with it? Oh, and while you're at it, why don't you pay for those unwanted children to be raised in foster care, educated, and prevented from drifting into a life of crime which happens so often with unwanted children? Why don't you start campaigning for Mormons to have a dozen wives and upteen children who end up on welfare because some Mormons believe in polygamy - got to have religous freedom around here. Why don't you advocate that strict Muslims legally be allowed to kill women for adultery. That's their belief after all. Better yet, lets bring back the Inquisition and start burning women at the stake as witches. The Catholic Church has so embarrassed itself over the past few years (in case you haven't noticed), that it needs to rethink it entire dogma from the Pope on down to its alter boys. Can you believe it?

Is there, to people who vote for "life begins at conception" laws? They condone situational murder?

Its my belief that if you take one penny of public money when operating a business then you are subject to all federal and state laws.

If this law forced completely private medical facilities to comply then I disagree.

However understand liberals he was just enforcing a law that was pushed through overriding his original veto. What's that you say? Yes he was doing his job.

Different as it is OBummers Regime that is forcing this law through with no vote required. That's government without representation.

I agree with the government. Rape is a whole 'nother story and each victim should be offered that pill regardless of what hospital they are taken to.

I support emergency contraception for rape victims. I don't disagree with Mitt on this.

The Catholic church is a barbaric, sexist, backwards, women hating psychotic group of lunatics on all issues related to reproductive matters. When it comes to contraceptives and anything related to childbearing, they are celibate lunatics mired in an evil theology that extends back to the dark ages. They should go to ministering to the poor and get ignored on this issue.

Good for Romney.
