Sustein thinks that citizens rights exist only to the extent that they are granted by the government. He thinks America should spread it's wealth to other nations. Thats a communist in my eyes. Maybe not yours.

Which has what to do with his admiration for the South African constitution?
Well I don't know Dane if a communist admires the African Constitution that sends up a RED flag in my book. I don't know what books you read. Maybe read one of his and see how looney tunes he is?
That's not what she said. She was clearly entertaining a thought experiment - what if you were to rewrite a constitution from scratch, today? - and mentioning possible inspiration sources.
The things some people get worked up over...
You forget that some here cannot think outside the box, heck thinking inside the box is a challenge for them. Funny thing is it is THEY that want to make another Ammendment to it to deny rights to some that others enjoy. The HYPOCRACY from the right is freaking amazing, just don't point it out, they lose control of themselves when reality hits em in the face.
Somehow, you seem to imply that admiring the South African constitution makes Cass Sunstein a communist. I don't really see how you use that fact to arrive at that conclusion, but it appears that you're not interested in defending it anyway, so - never mind.
Oftentimes constitutions and laws passed after a catastrophe are pretty good. Germany's constitution from after WWII is pretty modern and good, and I assume South Africa's new constitution is also very good in response to their apartheid past there.
Cass Sunstein said that the South African Constitution is "the most admirable constitution in the history of the world."
This should tell you where this communist sitting on our court stands.
You have no foundation for asserting that Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a communist. None.
South Africa is not a communist country. It is a democratic republic.
And Ginsburg's remarks to look to all of the writings that advocate freedom and liberty, and especially the more recent writings, is simply a pragmatic acknowledgement that the world has changed profoundly in the past 250 years, and that more recent writings and constitutions take into account those changes.
I don't know what Cass Sunstein has to do with your thread at all.
A Supreme Court Justice is bound by oath or affirmation to uphold The Constitution of The Unites States --AS WRITTEN.
So that prevents them from acknowledging/admiring other well written national constitutions in what way?
