She says that not me. She thinks that ours is outdated and needs to be re-written. Who else in our nation is thinking like that these days. Would it be progressives? I believe so.
Just think this woman is making judicial decisions that are supposed to determine things in the US that are or are not constitutiional.

She needs to be removed if she does not believe in our constitution.
This woman swore an oath to uphold and defend the Consititution. She should be removed for "high crimes and misdemeanors" if should does not believe it is supreme
She was merely pointing out something which most people are not aware of: our Constitution is no longer the favored model for other countries' Constitutions.
Ours used to be, but not now. In fact, ours is more vague, harder to amend and doesn't guarantee many of the rights other nation's do. For most new Constitutions these days, more and more countries are looking to Canada or South Africa for a model to copy.
That does not mean ours is "wrong" or outdated. It's just a fact that it's sort of fallen out of favor for a variety of reasons.
All Justice Ginsburg was doing was suggesting that, while there isn't anything wrong with ours, more modern constitutions may be better models for new ones.
That's not what she said.She was clearly entertaining a thought experiment - what if you were to rewrite a constitution from scratch, today? - and mentioning possible inspiration sources.

The only people I know who want to re-write out Constitution are progressives. You are one of those things?
A constitution is not a sacred book or anything. Why not update and rewrite it? The older a document is, the more likely it is to become outdated...

Those who want to rewrite our Constitution that has worked so well for over 200 years and many want to pattern theirs after happen to be progressives. Now if you lived here I would have to accuse you of being one of those things.
