There are a few here that will dispute this, but as OWS continues, they are becoming more and more irrelevent. Their lack of a clear message and goals, along with their disorganization and lack of direction and leadership are taking them to a new low in the public eye. Even democrats that supported them in the begining are running away from them as fast as they can..
Each occupy group is on it's own.
Occupy Detroit, has gone pretty much un-noticed, since up front, it kept trouble makers out (the anarchists, which have single handedly destroyed most of the occupy groups) , and worked with local ministers, rabbis, the police and government officials to insure a peaceful existence.
The have been so accommodating to the local press/media, that for the most part, they rarely get mentioned.
In talking with the local group, I found that a great many are Ron Paul supporters and while some are full time students, most work, with many having full time jobs.

But you can have your own opinion.
The problem with that is that occupy is percieved as a nationwide organization. What one group does, directly reflects on all the groups in the view of the public at large. Without organization or leadership you can not control the agenda or disassociate from those who are anarchist..

Exactly right. The few crazies have killed the OWS movement.

You are right, there are no jobs for those who set at home and can't be bothered with even looking for a job because it would interfere with their welfare payment. No one is going to come knocking on your door to offer you a job. There are jobs out there for the person who wants to work, you will never make me believe otherwise. On top of that, I've read too many of your other rants to believe anything you say.
What it proves is that "those who live in glass houses should not throw stones".
It proves that those who had no problem with this movement, were totally duchebags. The politicians that did not have a problem with OWS, crazedd lunatics.
He didn't turn on the occupiers. He said that the ones with good intentions already left to go home. And they will likely be back before the conventions.
But the ones that are still there, well, they are generally homeless folks who would have been sleeping in parks and places anyway.
