I certainly hope the folks that are so against "the gay agenda being shoved down the throats of America's children" are going to be equally outraged by this stunt?

Quote:
Parents of students at Kensington's Albert Einstein High School got a surprise along with their children's report cards, Feb 1. Last Wednesday students received fliers from Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays (PFOX) to take home to share with their parents.

In the one-page message, the group tells teenagers that no one is "born gay", and people can choose their sexual orientation.

PFOX Pushes Student Outreach: Montgomery County ''ex-gay'' group sends its message home with high school students' report cards: News section: Metro Weekly gay news

Quote:
According to Dana Tofig, a spokesman for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), the school system must allow any nonprofit that can prove it is a registered 501(c)3 to send home fliers with students. That requirement stems from a U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit ruling that Montgomery County's refusal to allow an evangelical Christian organization to send home fliers constituted viewpoint discrimination.
Hmm, so a gay right's organization could theoretically send home pamphlets too? Bet that would be well received.

Social education takes place in the schools so why not send a flyer home to the parents ?
Got to educate them as well.

If the gays can push their issues then why can't the ex-gays as well or heterosexuals ?
Give one a voice then you should give them all a voice.

For everyone except religion..that's a definite no-no in school.

Because the anti-gay, "ex-gay" viewpoint is pseudoscience, even if it "another viewpoint", it's an ignorant one.

Especially when it comes from the source, itself, right?

My son's birth father tried to give him some of this "gay choice" literature. Then my son tried to tell me about it without laughing.

Weird that these people seem to be obsessed over the sexual activity of teens.....

There's no proof there's a "gay gene" ...more pseudoscience.

If you want society to change it's the children you go after, not adults who are already set in their ways of thinking. That's pretty well known.
