What you've posted as thread header, and in body, and this link... all have nothing to do with one another. I'm against prostitution. I'm against the government prostituting itself to lobbyists. I prefer everyone make an honest living.
The article in that link didn't take a look at the buyers remorse end of regions in europe who agreed to legalize prostitution. They're changing direction as we speak because once it was legalized it became the dinner bell for human trafficking.
lol you have a point, but it's called providing a "social safety net" in a civilized society, not prostitution. you can't go starving poor mothers and children, plus the government can't stop people from having sex to my knowledge.
It should be legalized. It's just another case of the government trying to control people's sex lives. Just do like they do in Holland. You have to be licensed and tested and they tax you.
I am willing to bet you could balance the budget just by legalizing and taxing drugs and sex.
