The writing is on the wall. Either Barack Obama will be unseated in 2012, or he'll be the Lamest Duck In American History with a GOP House and Senate.

That's what Liberals get for ramming shiitty laws down our collective throats.
You mean since Clinton was reelected in 1996, with a GOP controlled Congress. As I recall, everyone in the GOP was saying Clinton could not possibly be reelected in 1996 either. If history repeats itself and Obama is reelected with a GOP controlled Congress, we will have his impeachment to look forward to by 2014.

It is also funny how everyone thinks Clinton suddenly became a moderate during his second term, yet you label an Obama second term with a GOP controlled Congress as being a Lame Duck presidency. The reality is that Clinton did not change. His vetoes were overridden by the GOP controlled Congress, or the GOP controlled Congress passed legislation with a veto-proof majority, giving Clinton absolutely no choice in the matter. The same would be true if Obama wins reelection while the GOP control Congress.

Welcome to Obamanomics. Pass the bill now and ask questions later because "The American People Can't Wait."

Except it was not her bill, or even the bill Speaker Pelosi got passed in December 2009. The Health Care Reform Act that passed the House in December 2009 was replaced in its entirety with Senator Reid's bill in March 2010, which the House passed without reading or amending.

"ObamaCare" is a misnomer. It is actually "ReidCare," and he is the only one that knew its contents before the vote in March was taken.

Right. And that would make him a Lame Duck because of the loss of his political potency. He'd be a figurehead, not a driver of policy. Which is exactly what I asserted in the post you quoted. Where's the disagreement?

The weekly standard knew before the law was passed:

The Persecution of Belmont Abbey | The Weekly Standard

"That leaves Belmont Abbey, which prides itself on its fidelity to traditional Catholic teaching, to fight nearly alone. Thierfelder has said that he will close down the school rather than give in to the EEOC's current mandate. He may well be obliged to do so. Whether under the so-called "public option" of government-run health insurance proposed by the House health care-overhaul bill, or the elaborately regulated coverage mandates contemplated in the Senate Finance Committee's version, it is all but certain that subsidized contraceptives will be part of the package."

For one thing, you stated that if Obama were to be reelected he would "be the Lamest Duck In American History with a GOP House and Senate." When the realty is that if Obama were to be reelected he would be the "Lamest Duck" since Clinton's second term.

Bush43's last two years as President was arguably the "Lamest Duck" presidency in American History since not only did the Democrats control Congress, they had a super majority in both houses.
