What would propose the current, or future president propose as his/her version of the original FDR New Deal to get us out of this hell hole?

Considering the original "New Deal", actually prolonged the hell hole, I'm sure sure what you are asking. Do you want programs to prolong the agony?

The New Deal did NOT prolong the recession. It provided millions of people with jobs at a time when 1 out of every 4 people were unemployed. Cut the BS.

The problem is that the stimulus bill wasn't big enough. It was supposed to be $1.8 trillion instead of the mere $800 billion. Of course conservatives who don't understand a thing about economics will not agree.

The extremists in Congress, and the GOP, will never support programs to advance the economic security of our nation. To think otherwise is just a dream.

I'm a conservative but I'm a fan of the New Deal.

I just don't agree with the half assed inner workings that allow people to get paid by the federal government NOT to work without any enforcement on job searches

Another day, another job of educating those who should have gotten an education in school.

Tell me mokay, how does government provide millions of jobs without first taking the money out of the economy to do so?

So you wanted to throw the country into another great depression rather than continuing the recession?

Tell me mokay, what makes you think it should have been $1.8T? Tell me where you pulled that figure from.. Oooh I know, dont worry, Obama said so, therefore it must be true, even though it defies all common sense to remove such vast sums out of the economy, and then expect people to spend more.

Total stupidity.

What part of removing money from the economy, is advancing the economic security of the nation?
