Let this be a lesson for those who don't think paying taxes is important.

Go ahead...cut taxes some more. Cut spending to the bone if you like, but be prepared to live in a third world country in exchange.

When decades of liberalism run things into the ground citizens need to take action. I'm glad t see people exercising the 2A rights and defending themselves.

When the core of a cities dies there is no one there to pay the property taxes on that which is vacant and forclosed. This had nothing to do with tax cuts and everything to do with decreased tax revenue (municipal and country, not federal) as people left Detroit by the thousands.

And yes, under Obama the USA is sliding into a 3rd world in more than once city. The government is not there to help or protect you. Your arse is your own to defend. Get training while it is still legal.

The GOP's proposed tax cuts will accomplish the same thing on a grander scale.

Detroit's problems began long before Obama took office, yet he gets ALL the blame?

And, thank you, I don't need training. However, in spite of the fact that I'm well armed, have been in combat before, have trained others for combat and know how to fight, I really don't want to live any world where it's every man for himself and where anybody can be shot by anybody for any reason, so long as you call them a "criminal."

Do you?

Detroiters have always been well armed. Folks can't possibly be any better armed than Detroiters are on average. This is news only to folks with their heads buried deep in a hole.

Who do you suppose might get shot? A law abiding citizen who minds his own business or a criminal who attacks someone to steal their money?

Just blame it all on liberals. Do you even bother to use your brain?

San Francisco is way more liberal than Detroit in every sense, and it is thriving. What does that tell you?
