And after saying this here, you were off in another thread ranting on about "Christians" holding everyone hostage to their religion. Which pretty much makes you the proverbial pot calling the kettle black. I mean you even went so far as to put the ubiquitous "" around the word Christian - it just doesn't get any less new or fresh or any more lock step than that.

I think the latest controversy over contraceptive and Rick Santorum's wins suggest this is where the race is going...
You'll know the economy is turning around when the UE rate starts to increase again. It's currently decreasing because of all the discouraged workers leaving the labor force. When they return they'll be counted again and the UE rate will increase and then over a period of time decrease.

Currently the labor participation rate is at 1980's levels and dropping.

What are you talking about? The economy is bad. We're still losing jobs.

So you have no proof to back up your assertion.

Tax rates are at their lowest levels since Truman. Pow

Do you have a clue what our deficit is? Both Obama
and Bush Jr have something in common:

Both were/are war mongers and both don't have a clue
what a balanced budget is.

What planet did you say you were living on?

I think you are a bit confused. Barack Obama has been our "President" (some call him the 'acting' President) for the last three years. This isn't, therefor, the "Great Bush Depression" It is the Great Obama Depression.

Even during the last six months of the Bush presidency, the economy was much better than it is now, and unemployment relatively low. It is currently calculated to be around 11% — the real number, not the phony number that the administration puts out for purposes of Obama's re-election. Some even place it higher.

And nothing is "turning around", but instead things continue to worsen. Three are no jobs being created and many people have simply given up looking for work (which is why the real unemployment numbers are higher — they don't include those people in their calculations).

One thing is clear: Somebody has you bamboozled. And apparently many others as well.

To put it in terms that Bill Clinton and Al Gore used in their campaign in 1992: "Everything that should be down is up, and everything that should be up is down."

Lightbulb Now that the economy is getting better, will Repubs run a "cultural war" presidential campaign?

It's the GOP's stock in trade. And it's how they win elections. Convincing uninformed "low information voters" that every election is about guns, god and gays is their ace in the hole.

FINALLY!! Someone who understands that people are DROPPING OFF OF UNEMPLOYMENT because they have run out of benefits!! And the government no longer claims them as 'UNEMPLOYED'!!

Not only that, but the economy ALWAYS gets a boost around Christmas time!! And these BOZOs are claiming RECOVERY!!

That just shows how utterly DESPERATE the left wing loons are to latch on to something positive from the biggest Presidential failure since jmmy carter steered us to the brink.

Obama must have found carter's playbook in a box in the corner of the white house basement and decided to dust it off and give it another go.

My GOD!! *******s are just so.... 'challenged'.

Good post!!

Curious. Where do you see "twenty months of job growth?"

You must be on the same planet as the OP.

Either that or you are extremely gullible. Who is putting out that figure?
