Now, maybe you would like to address the topic at hand about Chicago Mayor Rahm "The Godfather" Emanuel pushing for a statewide gun registry for the state of Illinois? You are aware of the history of gun registration leading to gun confiscation are you not? (see Nazi Germany, Britain, Australia, etc....)
Don't fall for the hype, this is Rahm grandstanding for political purposes.

So gun registration led to the holocaust? That is a new one. Not sure if you knew this, but the Nazi's also imprisoned Communists.

Reading is fundamental. My exact statement was:

And, while you are the only one bringing up the Holocost the irony should not escape you that an armed population would have been better able to defend itself from tyranny be it in Nazi Germany or elsewhere. So, you almost "get it".

Since you repeatedly choose to bring up Communists you should know too that Stalin confiscated guns from the people as well before his murderous rampages.

Are you supporting the actions of Hitler & Stalin when it comes to disarming the people before murdering them?

You brought up Nazi Germany not me. I doubt 1% of the population would be able to defend itself against an army and nation, even if they were armed to the teeth.

Right, because if the Jews, Communists and gays had been allowed to own handguns, hunting rifles and shotguns they would have been able to fight back against Hitler, the SS and the entire German army.

The right wing fantasy that a private citizen armed with assault rifles and handguns is going to be able to lead a ragtag group of fellow gun nuts in a glorious, victorious battle against a tryannical government backed by a modern military is ridiculous. Especially when you consider that the scariest weapon owned by most gun nuts is a gigantic beer gut that is threatening to pop the seams on their camo 5.11 pants. It is like talking to an adult that insists that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are real. Hilarious and scary at the same time.

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952 10,076,000 political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated in Kuomintang China, and by 1987 another 35,236,000 exterminations were carried out under the Communists.
