Society still debates because a large chuck of the population - you included - have their heads buried in the sand.

For whatever reasons - be it fear, lack of knowledge, religious misconceptions, bigotry, the way you were raised - some people still cling to the idea that homosexuality is an aberration, or a shameful choice.

It's sad and ridiculous, actually. But I suppose it took a few hundred years for society to come to grips with the idea that the world wasn't flat. Hell, there's probably some nuts out there still debating it. Clue?

Ah. I wonder how we managed to get to off topic. Thanks for being on top of that, Citi.

I'm not a lawyer nor a constitutional scholar and I definitely didn't spend the night in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I find this very interesting and ironic.. I am a big irony fan

He may get out of his dilemma because of some technicality but the voters will not stand for some man trolling for homosexual sex in public bathrooms. Craig will never get re-elected unless he becomes a Democrat.

I saw something funny on a busy street corner in Los Angeles. It was a man, (obviously, a little mentally "off"), who had taken a big piece of yellow posterboard and written on it (paraphrasing now): SENATOR CRAIG IS NOT GAY!! HE IS A GOD-FEARING HONEST CHRISTIAN MAN WHO LOVES HIS COUNTRY AND HE IS NOT GAY!! SENATOR CRAIG IS NOT GAY!!

The posterboard had all kinds of American Flags hanging off it. It was really pretty funny. I wish I had had a camera to take a photo!

You're right. Then the only thing standing in the way of his getting elected as a Democrat are the facts that he's a hypocrite, a self-loather, a liar, and doesn't agree with a single tenet of the Democratic Party. Other than that, he'd be a shoo-in.

Make some sense, please.

That's asking a lot.
