What a pathetic attempt to bail your leftist pervert RBG out. This asinine misdirection ploy isn't going to work on those of us capable of critical thinking, and it SAS doesn't take away what RBG said.

Ten seconds into his remarks, Scalia says, "And I mean this literally." An odd choice of words for someone being "facetious." Why should we have a problem believing Scalia's sincerity on this subject, when G.W. Bush referred to the Constitution as "a d*mned piece of paper?" And Justice Ginsberg was quite right to suggest that the Egyptians use knowledge from around the world in crafting their own Constitution, to benefit from the way our own Constitution has been amended in the past 200 years; only a fool would suggest that they simply duplicate what was codified in
1787 under vastly different circumstances and with a vastly different population. There can be little doubt that the Egyptians will take much from the U.S. Constitution when writing their own, just as we drew on English law and the Magna Carta when drafting ours. Scalia is a partisan hack and nothing more; history will define him as such. And what "perversion" does Justice Ginsberg indulge in? Got a link?

U.S. Constitution is just a piece of paper

Now, what about Justice Ginsberg's "perversion?" From a somewhat credible source, of course.
