I couldn't agree more.

Uhh, 54% of Catholics voted for Obama in '08. He cannot afford to lose any of their support. Don't be obtuse, Rhett.

I'm sorry, was Boehner NOT front and center whining about this proposal?

And in your world is it a necessity to sit down and chat with someone in order to compromise with them? It isn't sufficient to hear a complaint and soften one's stance so as to meet in the middle?

No, of course it isn't. You might actually have to give Obama credit for listening and being agreeable if it were. Can't have that now.

Those would likely be the 54% that aren't complaining about this now wouldn't they? (Actually the number is 58%, but whatever).

I said that those that are complaining about it the most are those who were not going to vote for him anyway.

I welcome you to show me where my numbers somehow don't add up. While you're at it you could go ahead and call yourself obtuse for not recognizing that they do...

Why the hell should birth control be covered by insurance companies in the first place?!?! WTH is wrong with this country?! You need birth control .........BY IT YOURSELF! Birth control is NOT health related. Viagra is more health related than birth control, and that shouldnt be covered either. You think everyone having to pay for other peoples birth control and viagra help insurance costs?

The ONLY people who should have to pay for birth control are the people that use them. NOT insurance companies nor anyone else!!!

Bunch of whiners. Since when was America a Papist theocracy? We were founded by Protestants and that's who still runs this place. Who cares what a gang of child molesters and idolaters have to say about anything? This is the same group who put Galileo in jail for having the gall to say the Earth wasn't at the center of the universe.

So, you don't believe in religious freedom? Or just those religions you agree with?

*Sigh* Included in that 54%, there will be a certain percentage of those who disagree with the president on this issue. That is statistical fact. You cannot intelligently state that none of that 54% were concerned over this contraception rule and possibly be taken seriously by anyone. And, that's just Catholics. People of other religions are also outraged and view this as the government overstepping its bounds.
