Have you ever lived in Detroit? What do you have to bring to the table in a discussion about Detroit that is not born from reading the news? The information you were working with is FILTERED and one sided. You cannot expect me to take your argument seriously when you are dealing with a subset of information. One could take a subset of information from the Bible and make Jesus seem evil. However, that would only work on those who had not been exposed to the whole bible.

I think what you are engaging in is called deflection. This topic is not about Kwame....is it? You are employing an argument fallacy called "poisoning the well". In other words, you are trying to poison this discussion by bringing up another discussion, instead of dealing with the merits of this discussion.
I think when one resorts to the use of fallacies, to argue, that such is a general admission that "They got nothing", and hence take to a path of trickery.
I would expect a higher level of logical argument from someone who fancies himself as the "Mathguy".

Let's be honest here... the extent of racism today comes down to some insensitive and bigoted comments from individuals. Of course, you have isolated incidents or extreme racism but there is an exception to every rule.
