Who said anything about Roe? I said the debate... the national discussion.
well maybe in the mind of a delusional you won. in reality women in 2012 will not go backwards in all that we fought for and gained. 3rd world thinking, control over women, our bodies, our health care is not gonna happen.
Listening to the discussion on this on Limbaugh - and he didn't put it this way, but here's the deal.
The abortion issue has been won by conservatives. Liberals have retreated to contraception and women's rights in order to keep the appearance of division between conservatives and women's rights.
In this culture where conservatives think liberals are advancing their agenda - we need to highlight this and point it out. Because it is easy to miss the fact that conservatives are winning some battles.
Liberals will never admit this - and they can't afford to have this defeat and lose the ability to divide conservatives from women's issues - so they create the false issue of conservatives wanting to ban contraception. In effect, liberals have been pushed back to the next hill.
You are confusing *victory* with an utterly dead issue. Abortion, like it or not is an entrenched, constitutionally protected US fixture.
How you can be declaring victory around this as an anti-abortion conservative is UTTERLY MINDBOGGLING. Ugh, why do I even bother in this nut-house forum.
Uhm...What exactly is there to discuss? If you deem conservatives having a conversation with the wall on this subject a WIN. Then hey, they are CHAMPS
All I am saying is that abortion and a women's right to choose has always been an important part of the election - and now liberals have given up the issue with the false issue of contraception because they can't win the abortion discussion.
I am not saying abortions will end or Roe v Wade is going away.
This is about the political plotting and strategy that is taking place - and how arguments, and talking points originate with the goal of winning over people's mindsets on issues and influencing people for the election.
Liberal elites now believe abortion is a losing issue and have retreated in order to maintain the ability to set conservatives apart from women's rights. That's what this is all about.

Your still not making sense. Liberals don't bring up abortion. This is a key word issue for Conservatives. As far as contraception, again another Key Word issue for Conservatives. 30 States already have a mandate, Why on earth is this a issue NOW?

You are incorrect.
There is no need to discuss this issue and liberals know this. If conservatives want to continue to be like this despite it being the year 2012, Republicans will suffer the consequences at the ballot box.
God this argument again? Conservatives didn't win, Liberals didn't do enough to consider it a victory.
In today's day and age, women have a right to what they want to do with their body. Enough said about he matter.
Stop making something out of nothing. That's very conservative of you to do so.
But conservatives pretty strongly believe that birth control pills should be banned, because using them runs counter to God's wil.
