Well if you suspected it was a fleecing of America... you were right. overpriced scanners that invade privacy while providing no security... great choice. Like TSA these need to go bye-bye.

First of all, this is very irresponsible of him. You don't post any assumed vulnerabilities like this on the internet for anyone who DOES have ill-intentions to view. If he really had any other motive than to cause this sort of attention then he could have simply provided the information to a Congressman or another person in such a position to protest. I have not watched the video yet, but I did read the text on the page. As for now, that is my opinion about this and I will watch the video later. Also, people keep mentioning things as if there is no purpose in doing so, such as removing shoes. Shoes have to be x-rayed to insure they are not packing explosives, what's so wrong with TSA having decided to once again be reactionary (yeah, it sucks to just be reactionary) and implement such rule?

EDIT:

I decided to check out some of the video and it is once again another know-it-all that has NO information about operations other than what is online and available to the public. Having my own personal knowledge and experience with TSA, I often find these kinds of things hilarious because it is so easy to SENSATIONALIZE a supposed discovery of a TSA vulnerability and have the public latch onto your supposed revelation, especially when the people agreeing with you also have no knowledge of the true operations.

I do think people should challenge the government and keep the government in check, but having worked for the government and having worked in relation to TSA, 99.9% of these videos are WAY over-generalized and claims are made as if the creator is the be-all-end-all-source on this topic.

He also doesn't mention that there are tons of difference models being used across the USA.
