When you have been married to your spouse as long as I have, it's a BLESSING to still want to "do it" multiple times a week!

Self esteem and blue balls?

So which is it? BC is ONLY for sex, or it's ok to use it for medical reasons?

Either way, BC is CHEAPER than pregnancy and subsequent birth, fact.

Abstinence. If you don't want to have a baby then don't have sex. Period.

First off consent of sex does NOT equal consent of pregnancy.

Secondly, BC is PROVEN to prevent MANY medical issues including reduce cancer.

Lastly, abstinence only goes so far till you're raped.

Next.

So, even married people (who don't want a/nother baby) should abstain forever? And what about somebody who is NEVER married? Good luck with spreading that idea, LOL.

I agree that you should always be prepared for the possibility of pregnancy, even when you're using birth control... but the fact is that BC can be VERY effective (up to 99% for some forms?) when used properly, and we can't expect humans to abstain forever if they're not looking to have kids. That's why birth control was invented!

To say that it does, is to say that you consent to a car wreck every time you drive.
