Then SHE or HE should go to the pharmacy and buy what they need or get a script from your doctor and go pay for it if your INS. doesn't cover it, but that's not what's even being debated. If they belong to a religious org. that provides them HC and they don't cover it, oh well, dig into your pockets *****!

Why can't HE or SHE go to the pharmacy and pay for the Viagra script?

Well, according to Rush only women can be sluts. Giving old men boners is a service to the community.

You choose to ignore the women who have to use it for diseases like Policystic disease and endometriosis.

What's the difference I ask again?

There was never an argument about it,and its coverage.

Either way,I'm beig forced to pay for others recreational activities right?
Can't get an erection, not my problem.
Proof? It's not on the insurance plan I have seen anywhere I've worked. I agree with you...why should you be forced to pay for someone's woody time? Seems pretty stupid and presumptious that you would be forced to. Much like I should not have to pay for someone elses rubbers. You want to play, you pay for your recreation. Otherwise, I'm lining up for a mandate that HI buys me a new motorcycle helmet and body armor...it's for my health, right?

Is ED treatment a mandated expense for HI companies under Obamacare? If so, I would work with you to fight to repeal the part of the law that mandates that, as well as BC coverage.

You just don't get it. ONE IS AGAINST THEIR BELIEFS, the OTHER IS NOT. Religious people are allowed to have children, Viagra helps men with ED achieve this. Religious people don't believe in contraceptives to prevent pregnancy. That's all there is to it. Don't get insurance from a religious org and you will have nothing to worry about. It's that damn simple.

Any one else getting a little turned on by this thread? Anyone? I mean I do have the Sexy Hamburger video playing on my other monitor at the same time so maybe it's a combination of the two.

I agree with this the most.
Don't cover either.

So, basically you're just a sexist who believes women shouldn't be able to have sex, but men should. Why don't you just mandate women be circumcised (like they do in Africa) so we get ZERO enjoyment from sex as well. Or, maybe stitch our vagina's up (like they do in Africa) so sex is excrutiating and we can bleed to death. I can't deal with your kind anymore, you make me sick.

Why is it ok for Health insurance to cover one but not the other, conservatives?

You understand the point of insurance right? Its to cover large expenses I could never cover myself in unlikely events. Its basically a form of socialism, only in this case it is absolutely justified since rugged individualism fails in complete disasters.

Its not a Sam's club membership. What we are seeing is privatized socialism. For the record, I am against Viagra being on insurance as well. Food, water, a roof over the head certainly keeps on healthy so why not just make it all insured?

We are turning insurance into a buyers club and privatized socialism, which is of course perfectly consistent with our merchant-socialist state.
