U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton ruled Wednesday that groups seeking to overturn the law will likely prevail in their claim that the day labor rules violate the Constitution
Quote:
U.S. District Court Judge Susan Bolton said it is illegal for the state to make it illegal for someone to enter a car which is stopped in traffic to go to work elsewhere. She also struck down another provision criminalizing drivers who stop to pick up laborers.

And being a day laborer, she said, is not a crime

So sad to see federal court judges who protect criminals. Liberal America is rejoicing for sure.

Just another sad chapter in the story of America's destruction.

I'm sure illegals and their sympathizers will be burning and trampling American flags in her honor.

I'm an anti-illegal alien guy.... and I agree with that ruling.

That law restricted my freedom as an American, not just illegal aliens.

Laws are to punish the law abiding, not applicable to the criminals who created the situation through lobbyist doors turning congress into a brothel. Let's deal with the brothel first. The rest should fall in line in short order.

There's no such thing as a welfare state. Telling me to shoot my car will not 'solve' transportation problems.

Apples and oranges much? There is such thing as a welfare state, and the US is one of many. End endless government benefits and the illegals being here won't be a problem since there are no taxpayer funds to suck on

Exactly.

There are enough laws on the books to deal with this situation already if the laws were enforced.

When they start jailing the scabby, ratty contractors and companies that use these folks, poof!,problem solved.
