Yes, I understand this, however the OP was really not that specific and many posters are not aware of the difference.

Don't push your religious garbage on me.
Don't want to use it, don't.
But your sky daddy ideas don't play on the population.

You may not be aware, but in the US there's a separation of church and state.

Another reason why churches need to be taxed.

Do those of you who voted "yes" realize that regular hormonal birth control pills can work the same way as the morning after pill? Do you think taking regular birth control is abortion as well?

So according to you, condoms, diaphragms, vasectomies and the patch are lethal weapons?

You are either pulling our collective leg or you are on the computer in the social room of some type of institution.

So, rather than allowing people to use contraceptives and take the necessary precautions to avoid bringing children into a messed up situation, you propose punishing people? Seriously? Go back to the damn Dark Ages!

I can't beleive you and so many other people responded to the troll (with zero posts before this thread).
98% of the population supports the choice of using birth control, including everyone on both sides running for president. The liberal media is trying to make this an issue and paint some republicans as anti-birht control because they realize that abortion is no longer a winning issue for them. It won't work.
Birth control is not abortion. If the egg is not fertalized then it does not have the correct number of chromozones to be a human being, hence no abortion.

The morning after pill is just a much higher dose of normal bc pills. That's why bc manufacturers recommend doubling or tripling up doses if you are late taking the pill. It doesn't do anything if the embryo has already implanted.

Yes. I know.

That was my point. Do these people really think taking a normal birth control pill is an abortion?

Priests (especially catholics) have surely found a work around... no need to worry about "control" of any kind.

Heck, even God is into abortion. There, I said it.
