In his Sunday afternoon Sandy relief briefing, NJ Gov. Christie reiterated that he still endorses Mitt Rommey to be the next President of the USA. So the fact that he thanked President Obama for his leadership in the crisis of New Jersey in the wake of Sandy doesn't mean he has changed who he is going to vote for. I admire Gov. Christie for doing his job to help the people of his state no matter who is president and no matter what his personal views are. What are your thoughts about this?

Well, since he was threatened by a non-US citizen for his vote, I'm not sure how I feel.

He's an R so he'll support he R candidate, but I hope it was his decision, not the force of faux news behind him.

I've said it for awhile Chris Christie is a no B.S. politician or not as much as the others. I wouldn't vote for him, but I at least respect him.

That the republican powers-that-be are probably not real happy with Mr. Christie right now and he is trying to mend fences.

I think Christie let Romney twist in the wind (so to speak) for a while before reiterating his support, and he let his actions speak louder than these words.

He still wants to run in 2016 so he has to suck up to the powers that be.

So since he thanked Obama that means he agrees with all of his policies and is now changing his vote? That makes perfect sense. As everyone should know now, Chris Christy is a straight shooter. He doesn't BS around like most politicians, and he isn't afraid to speak his mind. He cares about what is best for his people, not his politicial career.

Yeah, I saw the press conference... A reporter asked about it, and Christie had a very stong response!
Paraphrasing here: "What are you stoopid or sumpin? Of course I still endorse Romney, and President Obama knows it!"

So CHILL OUT all you hand wringing Republicans!

Obama and Christie are fellow Americans working together to get through a HORRIBLE CRISIS! This is what our public servants are supposed to do!

He did the right thing during the storm but has had America bent over without even lubricant for 4 years. Why would one storm get an edorcement compared to all the Obama damage done?
Christy was a gentleman, that's about it.
