So is there going to be a new thread every time someone gets this in their daily email forward?

No, just every time your lunch lady (government) tells you you have to eat it because your mom didn't pack a good lunch.

*sigh* The perceived intellectual high ground, how can I argue?

If you're OK with the government taking away the food you prepare for your children and replaceing it with this crap, go for it. Just don't expect me to embrace it.

I never said I was ok with it, you do like to read things in but that was apparent when you tried to make this sound like an epidemic or something. One teacher at one preschool did one thing, nobody knows exactly what was said or done (and no, we don't) and there was confusion. It's not a national crisis.

OK, glad to know you're on the subject.

Don't you understand that when the government "decides" to intervene in our children's lunches, that's unconstitutional? It doesn't matter that, according to you, it's an isolated incident..it's UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!

Please tell me you believe in the Constitution.

This is an old story, beaten to death ... and disclosed as false advertising by extremists who are opposed to local control of schools. That's how I see it. Read prior discussions on the topic. The excact topic. Be wary of big government supported by the GOP. Show up at your the PTA meetings of your child's school. Vote in local elections. Stay connected. Be real. Then there's no reason for people to whine.
