Not allowed to sing christian songs in school.
Heck some are not allowed to even use the word "Christmas" in schools nevermind sing Christmas songs.

He wouldn't have a case if he tried. From the OP's linked article (bolding mine):

Quote:
"Choral music is often devoted to religious themes. ... This is not a case where the school is endorsing or promoting any particular religion or other non-educational agenda. The song was chosen because its rhythms and other qualities would provide an opportunity to exhibit the musical talent and skills of the group in competition, not because of its religious message or lyrics," Kirtland told FoxNews.com in an email while noting that the choir "is a voluntary, after-school activity."
The fact that it is a not required, non-credit activity performed outside of school hours would negate any hope of winning a lawsuit.

Please provide a single example of students in US schools prohibited from using the word "Christmas".

This is not true.

Since the 70's, Christmas is rammed down everyones throat in November. As a child, learning to sing Hannukah songs was a relief , one can only tolerate Rudolf the red nosed reindeer by Burl Ives so many times....

It has nothing to do with religion for me, the commercialization and bs in America is what I take issue with.

Kids taking choir in high school had to learn Lohengrin, by Wagner, does this mean they are Nazis.. The anti-intellectualism in lamestream America these days is astounding

Lohengrin is a romantic opera in three acts composed and written by Richard Wagner, first performed in 1850. The story of the eponymous character is taken from medieval German romance, notably the Parzival of Wolfram von Eschenbach and its sequel, Lohengrin, written by a different author, itself inspired by the epic of Garin le Loherain. It is part of the Knight of the Swan tradition.

It amazes me that this much controversy is generated over something that doesn't exist. (gods)

People treat your religion like you treat your genitals. Don't whip it out in public and don't bring it up in mixed company. And when you do don't be offended when you get laughed at and ridiculed.

But I would have probably just not sung those words and remained in the chorus.
Yeah, god and allah are the same, they're both fabrications to control people.
There's no proof of either.

Are you worshipping santa or the easter bunny if you sing of them or say the names?

How absurd.
