you obviously don't know anything about sovereign debt. we owe them dollars. you think we have some kind of shortage of dollars, that would require us to sell them timber and water rights? Please.
Why stop there? Let's give them Alabama and Georgia too. We keep the port of New Orleans and the Miss. River but give them Louisiana, Alabama, and Georgia. Carve out parts of Texas. Would love it.
Because only about 12% of our debt belongs to China? By the way, I wasn't serious about selling Mississippi, sarcasm, learn it, know it, love it.
Texas would likely go to mexico. I agree with above just sell the southern states to china, mexico or wherever else, build a wall, and then prosperity would skyrocket in america.
Your grandchildren and theirs will be paying back China for a long time.
How much are the American National Forests worth in timber and water rights to China?
How about mineral rights in Idaho and Montana?
It is imperative that America keeps China happy or else they may issue Americans an invoice!
Actually it is imperative that China keeps America happy. They have done a poor job of developing a domestic market and only are able to keep unemployment low via exports. They also really, really need to be able to buy food from America which is why Chinese presidents pay almost as much attention to Iowa as American presidents do.
Without being able to have an outlet for their goods and a place that can supply them with food they will not last.
Sell off the homestead of Obama, the historic president, to repay China
