One of the good things about Maryland ios that we have a tool to curb the over reach of radical Dems. Any recently passed law can be suspended if enough people sign a petition. It then moves to a referendum in the next election.
This law will never see the light of day. In fact the deciding votes voted yes for that very reason. See you in November Dims!
Common decency is not radical, nor is it mutually exclusive to the dem camp or indie camps. When it's utterly lacking on your side of the aisle, that falls under the heading of a self inflicted wound.
Very sad. Marriage is between one man and one woman and that's the way God intended it to be. Homosexuality is a very strange, bizarre and abnormal thing. Plus, the Bible tells us that it's a detestable sin and an abomination. People weren't designed or intended to be with their genders. If God had intended us to be homos, He would have created all of us as one single gender.
that's really odd, because to me being straight would be abnormal.. simply because i've never experienced what it's like to BE straight.
funny how God would make different types of people with different traits and then call those traits abnormal.
never asked to be born.
you can tell when someone's God is fake when they're just as bigotted against a trait as that person is.
Very tight Senate pass! Would hold off on the celebration. Looks like there is a strong possibility that this will result in a vote in November.
Does this mean folks can get married now or will they have to wait until after the November elections?
