So if you're such a super duper husband provider, and you have six kids, what are you doing playing on the city data board 24/7? I'm a mom, plus I worked part time from home doing consulting when my kids were that age, and I own a business now that they're much older. I have five kids. My husband is a partner in a different business. When my kids were babies my husband and I didn't have time to watch a TV show, let alone play on the computer half the day. I smell a rat.
Moving yes, however they will not be there for some time.
My kids attend a small rural school in Nebraska. Most of the schools here are using these programs. We aren't exactly a cutting edge kind of place. I imagine it's a lot more common than you think.

I don't think so as i live near baltimore and its non existent here . I think we can chalk this up to the "agree to disagree category" .

Gee, I wish I could live an insulated life in an ideological bubble like you feminists get to do. That you apparently don't know any married fathers with views similar to my own is just .... staggering.
But I believe you. You can live exclusively with your own kind if you want to. We, on the other hand, have to live with you.
I'm not a super-provider. I've mentioned before that my wife is also a working professional. As to my own work, I'm anonymous here for a reason and will keep that to myself. :-)

Oh i have met men just like you in real life. They were either single for a reason, or part of an ultra religious cult.

Theres a reason none of us know married fathers such as yourself.
You are the exception, not the rule.
We have to live with your kind too, we just try to ignore you, and hope the next generation is more enlightened.
As far as your work, please.

I'm not sure what "my own kind is." I think people should be able to make choices about what they want to do in life, and I don't think there should be "one size fits all" rules holding them back based on gender. I think people should have the choice of marrying someone with the same goals in life--if you and your wife both want a marriage where she stays home and never works outside of the house, that's great. If my family chooses something different, then I can't see where it's any of your business, or a problem, for us to do what works best for us.
The only people I see manufacturing a silly gender war are people like you who, for some reason that I can't fathom, seem to think they have the right to tell everyone else how to live.
No, but usually anybody who rails on about women returning to the "good old days" is not the atypical catholic either. I mean opus dei members, are catholics as well and they wcould be viewed as a cult.
