Carter - Middle East as a success? His actions are still having ripple effects in the Middle East today. He was an abject failure there.

FDR and he economy - still a failure

Are those the only people/companies in the U.S.?

Are you claiming that the '80s was a decade of "greed" because of one person and two companies? Ridiculous. Besides, Enron was around long before the 1980s.

What about the other hundreds of thousands of companies in the U.S. which became successful or more successful and were able to hire more employees which helped the economy and the citizens?

Reagan (won the cold war), Nixon (got us out of Vietnam, started the EPA), Cool Cal (got us out of the recession of 1920's without any government spending). Worse - FDR (created the failed welfare state), Clinton (started us down the path to the Iraq war with his Iraq Liberation Act, allowed 9-11 to happen when he failed to get Bin Laden), Obama (massive fraud, liar, made the recession into the Great Recession).
