It's all a political ploy to increase his likability factor since he can't run his election on his failing record.

1952 - Harry Truman plays on the White House piano during a nationally televised tour of the White House.

1974 Richard Nixon sang God Bless American at the Grand Ole Opry and sang a number of songs with Pearl Bailey in the East Room of the White House.

1991 - Ronald Reagan sings his college Alma Mater at George Washington University commencement.

1990's - Who could forget Bill Clinton's numerous saxophone performances, one of which was on the Arsenio Hall Show.

Other musical presidents, Thomas Jefferson, violin, cello, and clavichord; John Quincy Adams, flute; Chester Arthur, banjo, Woodrow Wilson, violin, and John Tyler who organized his 15 children into a minstrel orchestra.

In short... get a life.

They hate that Obama has the ability to be likable.... And I suspect they really, REALLY hate to admit they like what they see. Obama rocks.

And to think that he'll be getting a 2nd term to drive people like the OP nuts over little nothings like this.

GREAT post!!

I'll add President Kennedy who was said to have a rather mediocre voice but loved a good Irish sing-along.

Yup. Their candidates can fearmonger about "Satan having his sights" on America, or call him a "failure" when America has conspicuously not failed, doesn't matter. They won't be retaking office in 2012

Oh, I just laughed so hard at that clip of Bush. It actually makes me like him . . . but just for a second because I can't help but think of how he made looking for WMDs into a joke:
