Thank you.

And you were polite and respectful as well - not always the case in these kinds of threads - from either side.

Getting to the topic, as I said before - if the judge was straight this wouldn't be an issue and the Religious Right/Conservatives would be defending her actions staunchly; however, because she's *openly* gay and refuse to do what she said she's doing, then it's an issue.

Ironic.

It's kind of hard to determine because its her job as a judge to marry straight couples. she can marry as many gay couples when she wants if it becomes legal.

In 8 states it is, so that statement just became null and void.

it's not constitutional to DENY gay couples the right to marry. even the justice department believes so.

so isn't doing something unconstitutional to someone wrong?

personally i just don't like causing pain and suffering so i don't have to have something 'make' me not do it... i just don't do it.

I know you people think it's okay to degrade a straight person. But let a normal person degrade gays, all drama breaks loose.

I never said I'm better than you people. Gays love putting words in normal people's talk.

In what terms are you speaking of the word 'normal'? Your definition and mine of that word are two completely different things. Makes no sense.

Maybe just maybe if there wasn't persecution against a lifestyle, then you wouldn't have to defend yourself and the 'normal people'.

As far as I'm concerned gays aren't putting words in your mouth. You're just admitting a truth you never wanted to admit. It upsets you and I can see why.
