That clearly explains why Obama has spent the last year raising money for his billion dollar reelection campaign.

I honestly think that some of posters railing on about the Department of Education and teacher's unions don't understand that the use of "demonizing" you are citing is meant quite literally. It isn't a metaphor. I guess that's good in some way. Glimmer of hope for reason prevailing.

Santorum isn't the GOP, does anyone on the left understand simple logic anymore? You started a thread about the GOP and you're claiming that the comments on 1 person from 3 years ago represents all of the GOP. I'm far from a Republican but come on, at least be slightly honest in your trolling.

More recent links to the crazy talk were posted for you. The fact is is that the GOP is not exactly coming out and condemning this stuff, is it? Metonymically representing the GOP through one of its most prominent representatives--Santorum--is hardly trolling; Santorum and his views obviously represent a significant portion of people who are voting in the primaries and making him a viable nominee for the Republican presidential candidate.

Sanitorium is the leading GOP presidential candidate in many states. Anyone who thinks he is irrelevant is a moron of the 10th degree.

What do you think?
Hey, I'm sure you've heard of the DC school district...right?

One of the WORST in the nation.

One of the BEST funded in the nation...on the level of a top private school.

How much more money you want to throw at the FAILED public school system, ruined by the DoE and unions?

Is there a logical reason there should even be a federal Dept of Education?

Another example of right wing hatred for education.

Nowhere in the thread did I mention funding or dept of education. The thread was about hostility towards education, educators, and students.

Thanks for proving my point.

Making things up to support your screwed up biased assumptions is a sign of liberalism and insanity.

Warren is described consistently in Republican press releases as "Harvard Professor Elizabeth Warren," and on second reference, "Professor Warren." Who would have thought being a law professor at one of the most prestigious and respected institutions of higher learning in the world would be a negative?
