Warren is described consistently in Republican press releases as "Harvard Professor Elizabeth Warren," and on second reference, "Professor Warren." Who would have thought being a law professor at one of the most prestigious and respected institutions of higher learning in the world would be a negative?
I also recall Sean Hannity citing the fact that Barack and Michelle Obama--both from not so priviledged backgrounds--getting into Ivy League Schools as evidence that neither had accomplished anything in their lives. I don't know about you, but if my kid got into Harvard, Dartmouth or Yale, I'd be pretty damn proud of my kid. But then, I'm not a far right, fox news conservative either.

Even if he was right, and getting into Harvard was not an accomplishment, how is that in anyway shape or form negative. Oh wait, here's how
Another example of right wing hatred for education.
Nowhere in the thread did I mention funding or dept of education. The thread was about hostility towards education, educators, and students.
Thanks for proving my point.
Where is the hatred? Stating the FACT the DC schools get funding on the level with the best private schools? That the DC school system is an utter FAILURE? So...truth=hatred to you. Got it.
That's not the reality of the situation, is it? I can't think of one candidate that wants kids to fail, but I can name a few that blame the current failed system, protected by dems/left so the unions can continue to destroy the system even more than they already have.
They are ALL against CHOICE, aren't they?
Giving parents/students the CHOICE to leave horrible, failed schools is "hatred" you say?
How about injecting some more TRUTH and linking to any of the candidates saying "no to education"?

Continuing to state that the thread is about school funding when the OP has stated repeatedly that is is not is an attack on logic and open mindness, which I would say are linked to education.
I've seen plenty of people here on CD, especially (but not exclusively) conservatives who would have a hard time with that.
The comments on this thread are a perfect example.
Ex. "The thread is not about unions or the federal government or funding it's about disdain for knowledge and higher education"
response
"So you think it's ok what the Department of Education is doing?"
