Yes, Republicans, please keep saying things like "Obama favors infanticide".
Statements like that just reinforce the image of the GOP as a bunch of extremists.
If you don't think that a state Senator arguing that medical personel should have the legal ability to leave babies who have survived abortion alone to die in a bucket, closet or on a table in an empty room isn't an extremist position then I shudder to think what actually qualifies as extremist in your mind and the minds of those supporting infanticide.
Tell me, it it the norm for homosexual "gay rights" advocates to also advocate for infanticide? Do they not care that they may be killing a baby that one day may also grow up to live the homosexual lifestyle? Did that ever cross your mind that you may be advocating for the murder of a homosexual if indeed homosexuality is as you have often argued, not a "choice" but the way an individual is born?

Only Illinois already had laws on the books that prohibited medical personnel from leaving viable babies who survived abortion "alone to die in a bucket, closet or on a table in an empty room." It was already against the law.
So let's be quite clear, the proposed law didn't make something already against the law more against the law. If it's against the law, it's against the law. The proposed law had another agenda. And as the proposed law was ultimately amended, Obama has stated he would have supported the final version.

Don't bother. Reason will not interrupt the absolutely fantastical story that the OP and others need to believe for some unexplainable reason.

Jill Stanek is a nurse who discovered babies were being aborted alive and shelved to die in soiled utility rooms while working at a hospital in Illinois and since has been a strong advocate against partial-birth and live-birth abortions.
Obama caught on TAPE arguing against giving medical attention to aborted babies........
But a pro-life sleuth has found a short audio clip on the Chicago Tribune website of Obama arguing on the IL Senate floor on April 4, 2002, against Senate Bill B1663, a companion bill to the Born Alive Infants Protection Act that would have required an abortionist to call a second physician to assess a baby aborted alive. Obama caught on tape arguing against giving medical attention to aborted babies - Jill Stanek

It was ALREADY against the law. The new law didn't make it MORE AGAINST the law. Jill Stanek is irrelevant. Obama wasn't arguing to revoke the old law that made it illegal. Therefore, the suggestion that he is for infanticide is (1) a LIE, and (2) part of a political agenda.
think I will go with the wife cheat and christian instead of an that kills babies after they are born
now, you choose~
so a dead baby is nothing but a non issue
and your party is the one of peace and love??
horse crap!
NOBODY is for Infanticide.
Obama certainly isn't.
Illinois isn't. That's why they already had laws that made letting a child born during an abortion die against the law. ALREADY AGAINST THE LAW. More laws don't make it MORE against the law. It was already a criminal act.

Yep, sorta like the birfer nonsense. No matter what reality is, they don't care, they think this issue, drudged up from 2008 is their ticket to the WH. Funny how the wingnut will push a lie to advance their cause.... They feel the end justifies the lies I guess.

That's what's weird. It didn't work in 2008, so they think, "Hey, let's give it another try in 2012!"
I wonder when the threads about Obama's lack of experience will start? Probably saving up this kind of thing for when the primary is over. Save the best of the worst for last, and all that, I suppose.
